This piece is a piano arrangement of a Swedish hymn 'Blott en dag, ett ögonblick i sänder' in the key of Eb major. Lina Sandell wrote the words for this hymn out of her painful loss of her father. At the heart of the song is the theme that we can find a new strength in the Lord to face our trials 'day by day and each passing moment'. In my arrangement of the hymn, I also join her message about trusting in the Lord in our everyday lives.
